| FacebookI was supposed to go to a school trip today but since the weather changed horribly in the morning (sudden winter ftw ._.) I decided that I don't want to struggle with the horrible weather so I stayed home.
And it was the best decision ever chosen that day.
Because if I decided to go, the tragedy would've been worse.
You'd ask "what?!"
The pipe draining the water to our toilet broke. What's worse is that I didn't hear the water pouring from the bathroom because I had headphones on. I started paying attention when someone was ringing like crazy to our door. I stood up, walked a bit and felt cold, soaked carpet from water ._.
I started panicking as fuck, quickly ran out of my room and then I noticed the flood but I couldn't find the source from where the water was squirting. I opened the door and heard that our neighbours from the bottom are flooded as well and so it appeared that the problem was that stupid little, old pipe in our bathroom, that broke competely out of a sudden, because nobody's been using the bathroom except my mom in the morning, and it broke around 1:30 p.m. (I was sleeping until 1 p.m.)
I was crying and shaking so much, it was terryfing. A bit of my parents' room was flooded too, but they have their cables and other electrical stuff near their door, I was scared that if the water would reach the electric stuff it'd get really bad (short circuit and all this stuff) and I might get electrical shock ;; So that was actually the first thing I tried to get under control, thanks god nothing bad with electricity happend. I turned it off as quick as possible then put it higher so it wouldn't lay in water on the floor.
I was alone at home and it was really hard to get it all under control, especially that I started panicking horribly, I called my brother to come over (because my mom was at work and my dad away on the rehab for the whole month) and it took him about half an hour to finally close it, then he went to buy a new pipe and finally fixed the whole shit. Jesus.
I seriously don't want to even think how it would turn out if nobody was at home today. I am STILL shaking and can't walk like a normal person.
It took me about 4 hours to clean everything and all this crap, but the carpets are still wet and it bothers me. I hope I won't catch a cold because I was walking in that cold water for about 1,5 hour ;;
